TECHNOLOGICAL THERMOFORMED PADDINGS
They are polyurethane foam paddings created on customer design, according to the specific needs expressed by the customer itself. They are supplied cut by die or by laser, and are ready for assembly or sewing, or even ready for final use.
Clearly, the development is carried out in close contact with the customer, in order to create the mix of technical features necessary to perform the required functions.
By varying the components of the padding, it is possible to create a component more or less thick, more or less dense (eventually also with different densities), with features of rigidity or elasticity, or even with inserts in different materials.
THERMOFORMED FABRICS
These are panels composed of a sandwich of materials: a lining fabric underneath, a polyurethane foam padding (which can be chosen among different compounds, different thicknesses and densities), and an upper fabric. The various components are laminated thanks to special thermoplastic adhesives and then thermoformed thanks to large size moulds (up to 3000x1500 mm). During moulding process the padding loses its initial shape and takes the one imposed by the moulds, returning a completely new product, with particularly defined and long lasting reliefs.
TERMOFORMATI ITALIA has a large portfolio of moulds available for all customers without any set-up costs, but there is the possibility of developing its own pattern by creating new ones.
The thermoformed fabrics can be used as a real fabric, to cover surfaces of various kinds, to create particular curtains or to cover upholstery.
